Mary McCormack has a leading character on the TV show 'MurderOne. The actress is popular as a performer for her work in 'The West Wing. In Plain Sight. In Plain Sight. and?Loaded.. Her work is also well-known due to her movie roles in Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', "True Crime and 1408'. She was born to a psychologist and an ice cream parlor manager, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the entertainment field. She was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of her parents in 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a BA degree in comparative arts. At the age of 12, her stage career started when she performed in "Amahl and the Night Visitor" an opera for Christmas. Michael Morris (producer/director) is the McCormack's spouse. They have three daughters.
