Marcia Gay Harden
Marcia Gay Harden was born on August 14 of 1959 in La Jolla, California, the youngest of five children. Beverly Bushfield is her mom,, and Thad Harden being in active military service, was the father. Her family often relocated. While they were in Greece her interest grew in theater, and she attended Athens performances. Harden began college in Europe at American institutions and then moved to the US to complete her education at the University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA from NYU. Harden had already appeared in one film in 1986 with The Imagemaker, but her first role as a principal was in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers funny, humorous homage to gangster movies. Harden's stunning portrayal of Verna, an enigmatic, gorgeous mole, garnered positive evaluations. Harden was able to continue her steady work in the role of a supporting actress, portraying Ava Gardner in Sinatra (92) The biopic on television that portrayed Frank Sinatra.
