Lizzo

LizzoLizzo was a member of a prog rock band where she sang, and occasionally played her flute. Her family moved to Denver and she was all on her own while she attempted to make a name for herself in Houston. Lizzo lived alone in her car, and sometimes lying on the floor in her studio recording studio and washed her clothes at the gym. When Lizzo was 20, her father died. The two had been close and it was a devastating loss. She quit the group in 2010, following her father's passing. After a brief visit to Denver, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis in the year 2011 at the invitation of a friend. She was soon ensconced in that city's music scene. She was a part of the girl groups Chalice as well as GRRRL PRETY. Her debut album, Lizzobangers, came out in 2013 through an independent label.
